Fees

JKS Bradford is a non-profit organisation. As such, costs are low. Membership is just £65 for the year plus a one-off joining fee of £30. Renewals are due in December each year.

Once you have joined the club, you do not pay any training fees. Until you have joined, there is a training fee of £5 per person per session. However, everyone receives their very first lesson free so you can get an idea if karate really is for you.

Lessons take place at Heaton Tennis and Squash Club so to cover the cost of room hire, there is an admission fee of £4 during the week (£3 for children) and £2 on Saturdays (for all). The admission fee is payable at reception and is on top of the cost of lessons (it must still be paid even for your initial free lesson).

The above relates solely to annual membership and normal day to day training. It specifically excludes additional costs such as a karate suit, belt, gradings, competitions or extra courses.
